If the market for finance were not explored, finance could have only been a product in abeyance.If the idea of financial mangement were not spread (by word of mouth), finance might not have been a successful product.
If the field of finance were not marketed the way it has been, there would have been far less students yearning for a course in finance.
Any product needs some form of marketing, direct or indirect, some form of market, 'pushed' or 'pulled', to make it work. For an indispensable product like finance, indirect marketing is sufficient to pull the market.
P.S.: I need finance to make a living. It truly is a wonderful product!
